BuiltWorlds put BotBuilt on the 2026 Robotics 50. Constructech named the wall cell a Top Product the same season. The hardware is six-axis arms on Hillsborough Road in Durham. The software is computer vision on real lumber - knots, crown, warp - so the robot picks, cuts, and places the stick that actually arrived, not the stick in the CAD file.
Panels leave the cell framed. Framing in hours, not weeks. The jobsite gets a wall, not a pile of 2x4s and a cut list.
Crooked lumber is the whole problem in offsite timber. BotBuilt’s file is that they deal with it on the floor instead of rejecting the unit or sending a carpenter to fix the panel on site.
