Wolf Ranch in Georgetown is a hundred printed houses. ICON’s Vulcan printer is forty-five feet wide. By August 2024 the neighborhood was near completion - the largest 3D-printed housing project in the file, on the ground in Texas, not a rendering.
The printers themselves come from the St. Elmo campus in Austin. ICON designs Vulcan, mixes Lavacrete, and prints houses: military barracks, Wolf Ranch, and a longer bet on the Moon. The factory is printers and gantries. The subdivision is the proof.
