Bridge decks get tied on a schedule the sun does not set. The mat is down. The pour is in the morning. The night shift is knees on steel and a reel of tie wire. Help-wanted ads for that shift do not fill.

Advanced Construction Robotics in Pittsburgh built TyBot for that work. It rolls the deck, finds every intersection, and ties it - about 1,200 an hour, without pre-programming the mat. IronBOT is the gantry from the same shop. It lifts and places the heavy bundles so the mat exists in the first place.

Toggle in New York takes the cage off the deck. Industrial arms pre-assemble rebar cages in the shop for transit, bridges, and energy work. The cage arrives tied.
