Chip campus on the old Gibbons Creek power-plant land in Grimes County. Tesla and SpaceX put the first phase at $16.8 billion. The finished floor is planned at more than 100 million square feet. Intel is on the process. Output is aimed at Optimus, Cybercab, and SpaceX orbital compute. A research fab on the north campus of Giga Texas broke ground in April as the precursor. Ground is clearing on the reservoir now.
